Guess what?! I managed to pack my bag today, and it all fits - I can even remain upright when I'm wearing it!!! I can't believe how exciting it's all getting now, I've been bouncing around the house all afternoon! We've just finished going through all our documents and photocopies as well, so there's not much left to do before we go- apart from getting Steve to pack his bag!

About us
After saving up for very very very long time and planning for a very very very very long time, Katie and I are finally heading off around the world, for what should be the best four and a half months of our lives!
We're heading to China first, then onto most of south east Asia (Laos, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore!), followed by New Zealand, Hawaii and finally America!

Well, here it is folks - the route we will be following over the next four and a half months!
Tuesday 3rd April: Depart Heathrow at 12:45 and arrive in Beijing at 05:45 (Wednesday 4th April).
Wednesay 4th April to Thursday 19th April: Exploring Beijing and Xi'an.
Friday 20th April: Depart Beijing at 20:05 and arrive in Bangkok at 23:45.
Saturday 21st April: Explore Bangkok and prepare for our 'Trail of the Dragon' Intrepid tour.
Sunday 22nd April to Sunday 20th May: 'Trail of the Dragon' Intrepid tour (taking us through northern Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, southern China and Hong Kong).
Monday 21st May to Tuesday 22nd May: Exploring Hong Kong.
Wednesday 23rd May: Depart Hong Kong at 14:15 and arrive in Bangkok at 15:55.
Thursday 24th May to Monday 25th June: Touring through Thailand (mainly the east coast), Malaysia (mainly the west coast) and Singapore.
Tuesday 26th June: Depart Singapore at 19:50 and arrive in Christchurch at 13:35 (Wednesday 27th June) - via a quick stop-over in Sydney.
Thursday 28th June to Monday 30th July: Exploring New Zealand's north and south islands using the Kiwi Experience hop-on-hop-off bus.
Tuesday 31st July: Depart Auckland at 13:25 and arrive in Honolulu at 07:45 - via a quick stop-over in Sydney.
Wednesday 1st August to Monday 6th August: Exploring Hawaii.
Tuesday 7th August: Depart Hawaii at 13:05 and arrive in Los Angeles at 21:35.
Wednesday 8th August to Monday 13th August: Exploring the area around Flagstaff (mainly the Grand Canyon).
Tuesday 14th August: Depart Los Angeles at 21:20 and arrive in Heathrow at 15:30 (Wednesday 15th August).
